We can do it all, from minor dry rot repairs on your deck or siding to building your dream kitchen or bathroom. Our skill set encompasses framing, window and door installations, siding, drywall hanging and finishing, painting, finish spraying, tiling, and finish carpentry.
As locals, we know the Pacific Northwest, which also means we know how to source materials that can last in our moist, lush environment.
Our team loves working and living in the Willamette Valley. From the diversity of its people to the wonders of nature, to the variety of projects available, we love it all. Most of our team participates in year-round outdoor activities—skiing, hunting, biking, rafting, fishing—so we couldn’t be in a better place. And we’re glad to be here for you!

Meet Our Founder and Carpenter, Frank Tazzara
Frank built Crowsfoot Carpentry because of his desire to work for a company that shared his straightforward, trustworthy, and hardworking values. Crowsfoot is designed to be the kind of company that he had always wanted to work for—and the type of company he would choose to hire.
Our roots are grounded in building trust with our clients and maintaining a creative and enjoyable work environment for our staff and colleagues.
Frank values family and loves spending time with his parents and in-laws. He’s an outdoors enthusiast participating in activities such as skiing, rafting, fishing, hunting, and rock climbing. He’s a SWIFTIE, does most of the cooking at his house, and makes a mean homemade pizza dough.
How It Began
In Frank’s words
Perhaps the idea to start Crowsfoot Carpentry was sparked when I stuck a screw driver into an outlet in the garage trying to help my father. Later in life, I proved my potential in shop class, so it was suggested that I enroll in the local vocational high school and learn a trade. When my mother asked me, “Do you want to go to college?” I responded with a simple “no.” Little did I know that a decision was made that would change my life forever.
I went to trade school to study carpentry. Upon graduation, I was presented with yet another choice. Join the local carpenter’s union or go to college. Being a teenager, I said “no” again. I went off to college to grow in other ways. Only to find myself five years later entertaining the prospects of the trades once again.
At the time, I was in Bozeman, Montana, and I needed money to fuel my recreational pursuits. That led me to work for several contractors until I found one that was a good fit. Five years later, I was confident enough to go out on my own. And so, it began, the first chapter for Crowsfoot Carpentry.
My focus at the time was primarily residential remodel, but I got lucky and fell into several new home construction projects. New home construction helped me learn project management skills on a whole new level.
In 2010, we moved to Corvallis during the height of the economic downturn. I was then forced to work for several contractors until I was ready to make my way again.
As the years passed and I grew older, I began to realize that this was no longer something I could do alone. I needed help. I needed help in the field and the office. Now that I have found my team, we are working together to build the next chapter in the chronicles of Crowsfoot Carpentry.
